Classics in the Park

The Woodley Carnival is a long-established family-friendly community show held in Woodford Park featuring a variety of local stalls, funfair, ringside displays, and entertainment, including a street procession with elaborate floats which tours the streets of Woodley before arriving on-site mid-afternoon. For many years the Hants & Berks MC has supported the Woodley Carnival by organising the main classic car display, therefore we are looking for willing members to join us on the day either to display their classic, or assist on the day either helping to set up, marshal or talk with the public. Why not bring a picnic or sample the on-site food stands, and have a pleasant afternoon socialising with fellow enthusiasts. There are no restrictions on marque or style, whether it’s a classic, veteran, vintage, modern-classic, sport car, or more rarer and unusual models. We welcome cars, motorcycles, tractors, and small emergency, military, or commercial vehicles. This is a pre-booked event open to Club members, invited motor Clubs and any private owners not associated with the Club. The show opens to the public at 12 noon, however all display vehicles must arrive on-site between 9.30-11am please (after which you may not be allowed in by the organisers) and ideally stay until the event finishes at 5pm. Each display vehicle will receive up to two free tickets upon arrival. There will be an exit bucket collection for the Air Ambulance charity. If you wish to join us then please contact the event organiser. Places are limited, therefore please confirm your attendance as soon as possible. LOCATION Woodford Park, Headley Road, Woodley, Reading. Display vehicles enter site via the Coronation Hall entrance gate (nearest postcode RG5 4JB).
