Classic Car Tour 4.jpg

Sunday 22nd June

Summer Run

The Club Summer Run offers owners and enthusiasts of classic and vintage cars the opportunity to take to the open road and enjoy a day’s leisurely drive with fellow devotees. The start is at the Ely public house, on the A30 near Blackbushe Airport. After being flagged off the start line participants follow a carefully planned route outlined in an easy-to-follow illustrated tulip route book. The route keeps mainly to scenic ‘A’, ‘B’ and minor roads as much as possible, crossing rolling countryside, through picturesque villages and past scenic sites – ideal for classic car motoring. The route is about 55 miles long (one way) with opportunities to stop on route at suggested garden centres. This year the Summer Tour will finish at Foxhanger House, Headley, a private grass field where competitors can re-group and socialise. Why not bring a picnic lunch and something sweet or savoury to share with other members attending. Hot and cold drinks and snacks will be provided. A marquee will be erected in case of inclement weather. There will be live music and other entertainment, including some garden games and family activities. Please let the organiser know if you will be bringing any children and rough ages so that activities can be tailored accordingly. The event is open to all Club and non-Club members. There are no restrictions on vehicle marque or style, we welcome classics, veteran, vintage, and modern-classic models. Entry is £20 per car for Club members, £35 per car for non-Club members (price includes family membership for 2025). Places are limited to 35 cars. Entry forms and Supplementary Regulations are available by contacting the organiser. Please note, this is a pre-booked and paid event. In order to help us finalise paperwork and entry numbers, we would appreciate if attendees could please inform the organiser by Thursday 19th June.
