About the Club

Formed in 1946 the Hants & Berks is a well-established motor club spanning the English county regions of Berkshire, north Hampshire and west Surrey. We are an all-purpose motor club, rather than a traditional one-make club, and therefore welcome a broad spectrum of owners, followers and enthusiasts who have an interest in all aspects of motoring, motor sport and the motor industry.

 

This diversity, along with our extensive history, means the Hants & Berks Motor Club benefits from a wealth of experience and commitment from its members who pride themselves in being actively involved in supporting and organising a range of motoring events both locally and nationally.

 

As well as a changing programme of social activities during the year, including quizzes, map reading events, film shows and quest speakers, the Club’s principal passions have to be classic cars and rally marshalling.

 

Since the early 1990s, the Hants & Berks has been a significant organiser of local classic car shows, gatherings and driving tours, giving owners the perfect opportunity to take their classic or vintage vehicle out for the day and meet up with fellow enthusiasts.

With regards to rallying, the Hants & Berks is fortunate enough to have an experienced and proficient in-house marshalling team who regularly assist in the running of national and international rally events.
