Classic Car Gathering at Longbridge Mill

Held at the Sherfield on Loddon’s historic Longbridge Mill public house and restaurant, our evening classic car gathering welcomes owners, enthusiasts or anyone with a passing interest in historic motoring to come along and join us for a few hours – whether you have a car to display or not.
There are no restrictions on marque or style, the event is open to all classics, veteran, vintage, modern-classic, kit-cars, sports cars and even those rare or more unusual models. We would also welcome classic motorcycles, scooters, agricultural, emergency or military based vehicles.
Refreshments and facilities can be found at the public house.
This event is open to all Club members, accompanying friends and family members, and non-Club members, including private enthusiasts.
Entry is free with no advanced booking required – although we would appreciate if non-Club members could confirm their attendance with the organiser beforehand please.
The event starts at 7:30pm and finishes when its dark!

Classics in the Park at the Woodley Community Carnival

The annual Woodley Community Carnival is a family friendly show held in the grounds of Woodley’s Woodford Park, open from 12 noon this popular afternoon show features a fun fair, street procession, ring-side entertainment, community stalls, model railway and much more.
Of course, no summer show would be complete with its classic car display, and at the Woodley Carnival the task has traditionally been the responsibility of the Hants & Berks Motor Club.
With a large area of the park to fill we are therefore looking for willing classic car owners to show their support and display their vehicle amongst fellow enthusiasts for the day

Entry Details
This event is open to all Club members, accompanying friends and family members, and non-Club members, including private enthusiasts, and displays from fellow motor clubs.
Entry is free for display vehicles, with each entrant receiving two free show tickets upon arrival – standard show admission costs will apply to visitors not displaying a vehicle.
Please note that display vehicles must arrive on-site between 9am and 11am, arrivals after 11am may not be allowed into the site. Participants should be prepared to be on-site until the Carnival finishes at 5pm.
The display area is laid to grass which comprises of slight gradients in places.
This is a pre-booked event and places are limited, so please contact the organiser as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

Woodford Park, Woodley, Reading. Those displaying vehicles must arrive via the Coronation Hall entrance gate along Headley Road, nearest postcode RG5 4JB. Local car parks for visitors are located in Woodley.

Events_Museum Visit

Sunday 23rd June

Club Visit to Bletchley Park and the National Museum of Computing

Once the top-secret home of the Second World War codebreakers, Bletchley Park is now a vibrant and popular heritage attraction for all ages. Visitors can explore many of the original wartime structures on site, including the 18th century mansion and the various exhibition buildings which form the overall museum.

The Club is organising a group visit to Bletchley Park museum, which will include an opportunity to join a private guided tour of the National Museum of Computing in the afternoon.

Sunday 14th July

Club Summer Gymkhana & Barbecue

So, you think you’re good behind the wheel? Our summer gymkhana provides the perfect setting to prove your overall driving ability and directional skill by undertaking a series of carefully organised – and fun – auto tests and exercises.
The event takes place within the confines of a private field located near Bordon, Hampshire, and includes a complimentary lunchtime barbecue for participants.
Entry Details
Entry is open to all members of the Hants & Berks Motor Club, including their invited friends and family members. Please note that participants are required to supply their own vehicle.
Entry is £10 per head, which includes soft drinks and food. Signing on is from 9:30am with the event starting at 10:15am.
This is a pre-booked event and places are limited, so please contact the organiser as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
NOTE: In order to finalise catering requirements, could all attendees please confirm their attendance with the organiser no later than Wednesday 10th July.
